The Human Resource Department is responsible for maintaining medical files and assisting department directors, the Mayor, and Clerk-Treasurer with employment law and insurance issues. All job postings are displayed on the front doors of the Mayor and Clerk-Treasurer’s office buildings.

Interested individuals may fill out a job application that they may get from the receptionist or download online. Once the applications are received in the HR department they are copied and given to the hiring department. The supervisor will contact the HR department to run a criminal history check, driver license checks, set up pre-employment drug testing, and pre-employment physicals (full time employees only). If you are applying for a full-time position you will be sent for a complete physical. The City will provide the doctor with a copy of the job description for which you have applied.
